About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Casual Warehouse Operator to join our experienced and welcoming team at our Frenchs Forest warehouse.
This position is available immediately and will continue until 31 October 2026, providing support while team members are on extended leave. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehousing, picking and packing
- Current forklift licence
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive, proactive, and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system (desirable)
Key Responsibilities
In this varied role, you will:
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer consignments and export shipments
- Reel cable and store products safely and accurately
- Receive and inspect incoming goods against supplier invoices, packing slips, and delivery documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct products and quantities are dispatched
- Package and label goods in accordance with customer requirements and HUBER+SUHNER quality standards
- Record and maintain batch traceability information for all outgoing products
- Ensure all shipping documentation and labels are complete and attached correctly
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cable-winding machinery, safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Participate in stocktakes and inventory control activities
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required
