Warehouse Operator

This role is based at our Scarborough office, working as part of our product division to support the coordination and delivery of day-to-day warehouse activities.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing the safe unloading, receiving and storage of materials, ensuring stock is located correctly

Kitting and issuing materials to Manufacturing and Service teams in line with work schedules

Completing accurate stock transactions using the company ERP system, including booking in and issuing stock

Packing and dispatching goods, liaising with couriers and following company procedures

Carrying out stocktaking and inventory checks, maintaining accurate stock identification, locations and quantities

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse, reporting material quality issues and following health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

Previous warehouse experience, ideally with around three years in a similar role within an engineering-based environment

Experience of safe storage procedures and manual handling, with a strong commitment to workplace safety

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and full driving licence

Experience using ERP systems for stock management, with confidence booking in and issuing stock

Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills, with a flexible and methodical approach

Confidence using email and telephone communication, with a willingness to undertake First Aider and Fire Marshal training
