The Opportunity


We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join their team in Liverpool. This is a varied, hands‑on role working within a busy warehouse and production environment, supporting the movement of goods, stock control and light assembly of products.


The successful candidate must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence and be comfortable working as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities



  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and transport materials throughout the warehouse.

  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.

  • Receive deliveries and accurately book stock into the warehouse.

  • Assemble products and components in line with work instructions and quality standards.

  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular stock counts.

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.

  • Assist with goods‑in and goods‑out operations.

  • Work closely with colleagues across the warehouse and production teams to achieve daily targets.

  • Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Report any equipment faults, stock discrepancies or safety concerns.


Essential Requirements



  • Valid, in‑date Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential).

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment.

  • Confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.

  • Experience assembling products or components using hand tools.

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.

  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.

  • Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.

  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.


Desirable Requirements



  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Previous assembly or production experience.

  • Experience using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
