Warehouse Operatives – Roll Cage Repair

Pertemps are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives – Roll Cage Repair to join the team at the Royal Mail Midlands Super Hub. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a hands-on role within one of the UK's leading delivery and logistics operations. As a Roll Cage Repair Operative, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing roll cages and associated equipment to ensure they are safe, secure and ready for use across the operation.

Your Role:

• Load/unload wheeled containers by hand.
  
  
• Manually push the wheeled containers from loading bays to internal or external storage areas.
  
  
• General stock sortation.
  
  
• General minor repairs to wheeled containers, ie changing wheels, brakes, straps etc.
  
  
• Achieving daily target of repaired units.
  
  
• Working on own and achieving KPI’s.
  
  

Requirements:

• Physically fit due to the role being demanding.
  
  
• Basic understanding with maths.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  
  
• Be comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
  
  
• Warehouse and basic hand tool experience.
  
  
• Mechanical back round would be an advantage
  
  

 

Other Information: 

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.
  
  
• Pay Rate: £13.02
  
  
• Duration of Assignment: Until 29/01/2027
  
  
• Start Date: ASAP
  
  
• Location: Midlands Super Hub, Dirft Drive, Crick, Northampton, NN6 7HQ
