Job Description
Warehouse Operations Technician – Renfrew, Ontario
Location: Renfrew, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
- Accept deliveries of goods into the company and verify shipments with shipping manifests, bills of lading, or purchase orders.
- Wrap, package, or crate goods for shipment and ensure completion of packing slips, shipping manifests, and bill of lading.
- Record shipping activities and arrange for appropriate carrier or courier pick‑up.
- Adhere to company policies, customer requirements, and applicable national and international regulations (transportation, dangerous goods, import/export, customs, environmental health and safety).
- Support the development, implementation, and adoption of streamlined processes to enhance document control and quality management procedures.
- Participate in training and development activities for team members.
- Ensure documentation is distributed to applicable personnel and all entries are recorded in a timely manner.
- Maintain put‑away and pick accuracy targets as determined by the program.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and customer‑requirements initiatives.
- Generate inventory transactions and maintain inventory control procedures, including receiving, material issues, and cycle counts.
- Coordinate the creation and release of work orders to the production floor with the program office when applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduation diploma or equivalent training and/or work experience.
- 2–4 years of warehousing experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to be on‑call on a rotating basis, work alternating shifts, and possible overtime to meet customer requirements.
- Intermediate knowledge of PC‑based systems; experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks with accuracy.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle is an asset.
- Inventory‑management experience is an asset.
- Forklift experience and certification is an asset.
- Understanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods is an asset.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: 44,000 CAD – 80,000 CAD (good faith estimate).

Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances related to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
