Here at GXO, we're looking for a Warehouse Operations Controller to join us at our Carlsberg site in Swan Valley, Northampton.
You'll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working the night shift on a 4 on, 4 off, basis, 18:00 - 06:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to ยฃ40,297.97 plus ยฃ1,800.00, night shift allowance, per annum and 26 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Ensure that day-to-day operational changes are incorporated into the department standards
- Continuously strive to improve the operational effectiveness of the site, to ensure high quality of service to customers
- Ensure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their own responsibilities to others
- Monitoring key performance indicators for the area
- Always ensure effective and efficient use of the warehouse management system (SAP) by the warehouse administration team
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
- The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality. IOSH Manging safely would be desirable.
- An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
