Warehouse Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a switched on and hardworking Warehouse Officer to join our Next Payments team based in Cheltenham. We are looking someone who is friendly, loves a challenge and is looking to gain new skills in the future.

With new product launches, significant customer acquisitions and strong business growth (189 employees currently,) and recently winning major tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments!

The Role

This role will provide you with invaluable experience and opportunity for growth all whilst working in a passionate, safe, and friendly workplace culture.

Your primary responsibility, particularly within the initial months in this role will involve routine refurbishing of Next Payments’ ATMs. Additional tasks will involve assisting with day-to-day activities, supporting both external and internal stakeholders including:

• Staging of all types of devices in a timely manner and according to processes and procedures.
• Arranging dispatch, producing connotes and labels.
• Checking all purchase orders of parts delivered to the warehouse and correctly enter into Salesforce, with serial numbers if applicable.
• Checking pipeline of all outward cases and jobs at regular intervals.
• Packing parts and recording all asset movements into Salesforce.
• Deciding on appropriate carrier to ensure parts are delivered in a timely manner according to severity/SLA.
• General warehouse duties including stocktake, bench repairs and prepping of devices.
• Maintaining the warehouse in line with company OHS guidelines.

About You

• Interest in electronics/mechanics or similar.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to be proactive and use initiative.
• Logical thinker (we can teach you the technical stuff!).
