Job Purpose
The Warehouse Associate performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Job Description
Salary Range: $16.92-$31.44/ hr
You are meant for this job if:
Work Environment:
Spends most of the time within a manufacturing environment with minimal time in an office environment. Will be exposed to warehouse and manufacturing machinery in operation such as forklifts and cranes. Will be exposed to working inventory storage equipment. May be exposed to high noise levels.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, listen, and speak for long periods of time. Required to work on concrete floors wearing steed toed boots, hearing protection and any other personal protective equipment required up to 12 hours per day. Manual dexterity is required using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, and lift.
Ability to lift 40 pounds is required from time to time. Required to use lifts and cranes for lifting inventory and other items in the Warehouse. Frequent use of computer and close viewing of monitor is required.
Regular, repetitive arm/hand motion (typing, mouse control, etc.) is required.
