About the Role

As a (Junior) HR Manager, you will support the German HR function with a strong focus on operational excellence and compliance. You will take ownership of key administrative HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle while working closely with the HR team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for employees regarding HR-related topics
  • Preparation of employment contracts, amendments, bonus agreements and HR-related documents
  • Creation of warnings, confirmations and official certificates
  • Management of employee absences (e.g. vacation, sickness, parental leave)
  • Tracking and reporting of monthly HR KPIs (e.g. sickness, holiday accruals)
  • Keep employee data up to date and ensure accuracy in our HR systems
  • Preparation of monthly payroll data
  • Make sure employee files are complete and well-organized
  • Support the HR Director with our quarterly employee engagement surveys
  • Get involved in exciting HR projects, such as improving processes or implementing new tools
  • Bring in your own ideas to help us continuously improve how we work in HR

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar
  • Experience in HR administration or generalist role (3-4 years preferred)
  • Strong interest in German labor law and HR processes
  • Fluent in German and English (mandatory)
  • High attention to detail and structured working style
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset
