Warehouse Assistant

We are a passionate Australian business supplying Australian made beverage products to wholesalers and resellers in Foodservice throughout every State in Australia from our location in Prestons NSW 2170 . We are looking for a go getter, energetic individual who has a passion to work in a small team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this casual position 5 Days a Week approx. 30 hours a week, to start but may increase as the business requires. Day of work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8:00am start - 2:30pm approx. Some days maybe earlier starts or later finishes. This role requires you to have a provenbackground in deliver driving & warehousing.You will be responsible for providing premium service levels to our valuedcustomers.

This role will involve:

• Using Work Van To Deliver Local Orders
• Picking and Packing orders to be dispatched via our Freight Forwarder.
• These can be on pallets, skids or individually boxes.
• Stock Control and ensuring stock rotation is adhered to
• Common sense

Must Have:

• Valid and current Drivers License
• Valid and current Forklift License
• Tax File Number

All about you

• Prior experience working as a Warehousing Specialist in a busy environment preferably the foodservice industry.
• Deliver Driver Experience
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with great phone manners.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

This is a Casual Role presently by may increase as demand increases. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate, playful and rapidly growing company based out of Prestons NSW.
