Your Role
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatchEnsure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels as per system (MRP/SAP)Ensure WMS (Warehouse Management System) deployment. Ensure MTS (Material Tracking System) followed for E componentsMonitor inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely material movement. Implement and maintain warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and material flowEnsure adherence to FIFO/FEFO and proper material handling practices. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracyLead and manage warehouse team, including manpower planning, training, and performance monitoringCoordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operationsEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costsMonitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time dispatch, and warehouse efficiencyHandle and resolve operational issues related to stock discrepancies, damages, and delays. B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Engineering Logistics, Supply chain Management, Electricals/Electronics/Manufacturing with experience of 8- 15 yearsMinimum 8โ15 years of experience in automotive warehouse operations or supply chain managementHands-on experience in SAP / ERP systems. Knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System)Knowledge in E Kanban system. Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processesGood leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and coordination skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilityKnowledge of safety standards and warehouse compliance practices. Maintaining inventory accuracy in a dynamic production environmentManaging space constraints and optimizing warehouse layout. Handling fluctuating demand and urgent dispatch requirementsEnsuring timely material availability without overstocking.
