The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing low-latency trading systems in a highly electronic market environment. This role involves close collaboration with traders, quants, and engineers to implement and enhance automated trading strategies, execution logic, and real-time market data systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining high-performance trading systems, translating strategy logic into production code, and improving system performance and throughput across real-time trading applications. Applicants for the VP Quantitative Developer position at the company should have a strong background in hands-on development with Java, Python, Rust, or C++, and experience in algorithmic trading, electronic trading, or quantitative development. The role requires a deep understanding of low-latency and high-performance trading systems, real-time market data, and event-driven systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing quantitative models, trading logic, and automated execution workflows, as well as a solid grasp of how trading strategies are deployed in production.
