Vice President of Engineering, Payments About the Company Industry-shaping provider of cybersecurity & digital trust solutions Industry Computer & Network Security Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering with a focus on payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of customer-facing digital payment applications across mobile and web, as well as driving the integration of existing products with newly acquired fintech platforms. A key aspect of the role is advancing AI adoption in both products and internal operations, with a target of achieving significant productivity improvements.

The VP will also be tasked with scaling platforms to support large-scale, real-time, high-throughput environments and shaping business and technology strategy in close partnership with senior executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience leading commercial software development teams, with a proven track record in scaling fintech organizations and a strong background in B2C mobile and web products. Experience in telemetry pipeline ownership, managing large teams, and a deep understanding of large-scale, real-time systems are essential.

A strong technical grounding, particularly in Java, React, or Scala, is preferred, and a background in platform or system migrations is a plus. The role requires a strategic, forward-looking leader with a strong interest in AI-powered innovation, who can thrive in a fast-moving, Fortune 500 environment with a startup mindset.
