The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, standardizing manufacturing practices, and developing workforce competencies to enhance performance and efficiency. This pivotal role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized manufacturing operating systems, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of operational performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. The leader will also be tasked with aligning manufacturing processes with organizational goals and best practices, assessing workforce skills, and designing training programs to enhance technical and operational capabilities. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. The role requires a proven track record in leading manufacturing operating systems and competency development initiatives, strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills, and a demonstrated success in driving operational excellence in complex manufacturing environments. While not mandatory, certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management are preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at process optimization, and continuous improvement, and will have experience in fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and high performance. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the role involves partnering with various teams to support strategic initiatives and communicate performance results to senior leadership.
