Vice President of Clinical Development, Haematology and Cell Therapy About the Company Forward-thinking biotechnology company Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Clinical Development with a focus on Hematology and Cell Therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the global clinical development strategy across hematology and transplant/cell therapy programs. This includes serving as the Clinical Program Lead for key late-stage assets, designing and overseeing Phase 1-3 clinical trials, and leading regulatory strategy and global health authority interactions. The role also involves driving lifecycle planning, label expansion, and portfolio prioritization, as well as providing executive medical oversight of safety, data interpretation, and benefit-risk assessment. The VP will be expected to lead external scientific engagement, collaborate cross-functionally, and build and lead high-performing clinical development teams. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree, with at least 10 years of clinical development experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Deep expertise in hematologic malignancies, particularly AML and MDS, is essential, as is experience in stem cell transplantation and/or cellular therapies such as CAR-T and NK. The role requires a proven track record in leading late-stage clinical programs and regulatory interactions, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Experience in oncology modalities such as radiopharmaceuticals, immunotherapy, or targeted therapies is also necessary.
