About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its national initiative, which is dedicated to creating pathways for lifelong learning, meaningful employment, independent living, leadership development, and community engagement for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and execution of this initiative, with a focus on expanding access to inclusive education, workforce development, and other supports that empower participants to achieve greater independence. This role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including a proven track record in program development, strategic partnerships, and fundraising.

The Vice President will also be tasked with overseeing program innovation, operational excellence, and impact measurement, as well as contributing to enterprise-wide strategic planning and organizational growth. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include developing and executing the long-term vision and growth strategy, leading innovation efforts, and establishing the initiative as a preferred partner for inclusive education. The role involves cultivating strategic relationships with educational institutions, employers, and industry leaders, and leading the development of workforce readiness and career success initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of disability inclusion, workforce development, and support for individuals with IDD, and experience in leading inclusive postsecondary education or employment initiatives. They must be adept at managing multi-million-dollar budgets, have exceptional leadership and communication skills, and be willing to travel and work flexible hours as necessary. The position is pivotal in advancing the organization's mission and requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to leading and advocating for a more inclusive world.
