Job Title: Senior Nurse for IPD/OT/OPD Job Summary: The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to animal patients under the supervision of veterinary doctors. This role requires a blend of clinical nursing expertise and a passion for animal welfare. Key Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarians in examinations, clinical procedures, and surgeries. - Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor anaesthesia and provide post-operative care to patients. - Perform diagnostic laboratory tests and take radiographs. - Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts. - Communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans and care instructions. - Ensure a clean, sterile, and safe environment for all animals and staff. Qualifications and Skills: - Degree or Diploma in Nursing (General Nursing or BSc Nursing preferred). - Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting. - Strong technical skills in IV placement, blood draws, and patient monitoring. - Compassion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
