Venue Manager

Job Description

We\'re looking for a capable Venue Manager to take ownership of an iconic regional hotel with genuine upside.

This is a full-scope venue - gaming, bar, kitchen, massive bottleshop and accommodation - so you\'ll be across everything that drives performance. You\'ll have the autonomy to run the venue properly, with support where it counts., You\'ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, including:

• Managing bar, gaming, kitchen, bottleshop and accommodation


• Driving revenue and improving consistency across the week


• Rosters, wages, and cost control


• Overseeing kitchen performance


• Building and leading a reliable team


• Compliance across gaming, liquor, WHS, and food safety


• Stock control and supplier management


• Reporting and working with senior ops on performance

About the Candidate

• Experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Venue Manager


• Strong understanding of gaming and F&B operations


• You understand wages, margins, COGS and how to improve them


• Hands-on leadership - leads from the front


• Can work independently and take ownership


• Good with people - staff and locals both matter

Work Environment

• $100,000 - $130,000 salary (depending on experience)


• Manager\'s apartment included (onsite)


• Meals and relocation support where required
