Job Description
We are looking for a Validation Engineer to join our client, a Pharmaceutical company in Dublin for a 12 month hourly rate contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing end-to-end validation support for manufacturing and packaging lines, specifically focusing on FATs, IOQs, and PQs.
- Managing heavy vendor interaction, working closely with third-party suppliers and project engineers to ensure equipment standards are met.
- Executing "on-the-floor" testing and troubleshooting of machines; specifically supporting the upgrade and validation of vision systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage increased production volumes as the site manufactures beyond current capacity.
- Supporting facility-related validation projects as required to ensure seamless production flow
Skills, Attributes & Experience
- Degree in Engineering or a Scientific related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years + experience working in a Validation role within Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device.
- Strong background in Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing and tablet press equipment is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in vendor management and overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Practical experience with packaging lines and/or vision system upgrades.
- Strong communication skills.
