Senior Urban & Regional Planner
About the RoleBhullar Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Urban & Regional Planner to support a range of infrastructure and development projects across regional NSW.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning projects from concept to approval
- Prepare and review Development Applications and planning reports
- Provide strategic and statutory planning advice
- Assess proposals against NSW planning legislation and controls
- Liaise with councils, agencies and consultants
- Identify planning risks and provide practical solutions
- Support project feasibility and development strategies
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of planning work
- Degree in Urban/Regional/Environmental Planning or related field
- Senior-level planning experience in NSW
- Strong knowledge of NSW planning system and approvals
- Experience with Development Applications and planning reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage projects independently
