We are searching for a talented Ultrasound Technologist *$8,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)* Hours: 24 flex 32hrs Shift: Day/Evening shift; Position will be included in department weekend, on call, and holiday coverage rotation.

Responsibilities Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient-s chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam.

Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images.

Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Aware of the principles of ALARA and MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.

Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology and attaiment of primary certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, the Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Sonography is required. Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. RDMS required with RVT preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired Pay Range USD $38.89 - USD $60.60 /Hr.
