Ultrasound Technologist Sign On Bonus / Relocation Assistance / Competitive Pay Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary The Ultrasound Technologist conducts both diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound examinations to support the evaluation and treatment plans outlined by the attending physician. They perform medical ultrasounds with efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service to patients. Key duties involve explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring correct positioning for precise imaging.
The technologist adjusts equipment settings based on procedural expertise and established protocols, while also providing support to clinic physicians as needed. Additionally, the role involves frequent interaction with various computer programs and systems. Ultrasound Technologist Position Qualification Minimum Education: Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, or Ultrasound Technology program Minimum Experience: 1 year experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Kansas License for Radiology Technology (LRT) Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
