\nYou will play a key role in supporting the development and strengthen existing client relationships and help our clients, who are leaders in the Financial Services industry, navigate the complex finance issues facing their business. \nYour key responsibilities
\n- \n
- As a Technical Analyst, you will work with our clients to understand business goals and priorities, capture these as requirements and translate the requirements into key technical business artifacts. \n
- You will build valuable relationships with our clients through demonstrating exceptional delivery. \n
- You’ll also have the responsibility to help grow and win new business by contributing to proposals and client presentations. \n
- You will also get to draw on your skills and experience, creating innovative insights for clients looking to develop their change agenda to deliver value and improve their operations. \n
Skills and attributes for success
\nTo qualify for the role, you must have
\n- \n
- At least 5 years’ experience within a consulting firm, industry or government organisation within the local, European or US market. \n
- Demonstrated continuous learning including a third level degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT related area. \n
- Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Health, TMT and Government & Public Sector. \n
- Ability to effectively work across all phases of the project lifecycle. \n
- Experience in performing analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations to clients. \n
- Good knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. cloud, databases, Business Intelligence, software development and integration). \n
- Strong communication skills, including prioritising, problem-solving and interpersonal relationship building. \n
- Strong people management skills, including managing a team of Technical Analysts and supporting them in terms of career development. \n
- Experience gathering, defining and documenting business and solution requirements for the enhancement, replacement, or introduction of IT systems. \n
- Experience in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
Ideally, you will also have
\n- \n
- Experience in Functional Design. \n
- Experience analysing systems and procedures, process design and modelling, and documenting ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ assessments for a Target Operating Model. \n
- Experience in performing gap analysis and collaborating with technical resources on solution proposals, technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports. \n
- Experience conducting workshops and interviews. \n
- Experience with Stakeholder Management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet client and user business needs. \n
- Experience in the delivery of large-scale business/technology programmes. \n
