Registry Services

Registry Servicesare responsible forleading,managing and supporting the administrative processes ofthestudentslifecycleat the University, from the moment they register until they graduate.We alsoensure that academic processes, records, and standards are properlymaintainedacross the institution.

UK Validation Services

TheUK Validation Services (UKVS) teamis part of the Academic Quality Services (AQS) department within Registry Services and are responsible for the ongoing account and relationship management of the university's UK collaborative partnerships, working closely with the wider AQS teams to ensure appropriate regulatory & contractual compliance, and quality assurance & enhancement.

The Role

  • The UK Validation Services Officer (UKVSO) will have a key role in coordinating the Universitys engagements with UK collaborative partnerships providing account management services to collaborative partners, either as lead or supporting, and ensuring the quality and standards of provision delivered through the Universitys network of collaborative partners is maintained and enhanced.
  • They will work closely with the Head of UKVS and the other UKVSO to ensure that students and staff at collaborative partners have a high-quality experience with DMU.
  • As a member of the team or individually, they will deliver a range of project-based work and data reporting activity, as well as servicing a number of boards/committees.
  • They will become a proficient user of the Universitys SAP student lifecycle system, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are provided with accurate and timely support, as and when required.
  • They will contribute to the planning and delivery of a programme of contextualised registration schedules and induction programmes for collaborative partners.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload, whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will have an innate ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

They will have excellent IT skills, with the ability to create/manage/manipulate data and provide analytical reports. They will be a strong team player, as well as being confident in using their own initiative, to respond quickly to situations.
