Education

Experience

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee vehicle condition, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

  • AZ class license
  • Class 3/3F/DF licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)

Documentation knowledge

  • Accident or incident reports
  • Inspection report (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip)
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Trip reports

Transportation/travel information

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
