Responsibilities

• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain professionalism in customer service
• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy
• Operate lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials and Qualifications

• AZ class license
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
• Driver's validity licence check required
• Driving record check (abstract) required
• Valid driver's licence
• Long‑haul experience
• Operate GPS and other navigation equipment

• Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
