Truck Driver
Employer: DBG TRUCKING
Location: Brampton, ON L6T 1G4
Salary: $36.10 per hour
Terms of employment: Permanent, full‑time (40–50 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain professionalism in customer service
- Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
- Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy
- Operate lighter, special purpose trucks
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Pay and receive payments for goods
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Conduct pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of cargo
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
Credentials and Qualifications
- AZ class license
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Driver's validity licence check required
- Driving record check (abstract) required
- Valid driver's licence
- Long‑haul experience
- Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
