Truck Driver

Dasmesh Services Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team based in Welshpool. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across metropolitan and regional areas. The ideal candidate should be punctual, safety-focused, and committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining compliance with all road transport regulations.

Task & Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods safely and on schedule
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine vehicle inspections
• Load and unload freight, ensuring correct securing and handling
• Plan delivery routes and meet time-sensitive schedules
• Comply with fatigue management, road laws, and company policies
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and documentation
• Monitor vehicle condition and report faults or maintenance issues
• Ensure goods are delivered in good condition with proof of delivery
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC as applicable)
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Truck Driver
• Strong understanding of road safety and fatigue management regulations
• Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely in various conditions
• Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Strong time management and communication skills
• AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (desirable)
