Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Crowley, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios up to 6:1 - Experience in charting systems Description: Please ensure your traveler is aware of the following. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team.
Specific details regarding pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept the above conditions. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above.
The unit accepts first-time travelers and weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The unit has a diverse patient population including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. An interdisciplinary support team is available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
Patient care responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of peripheral lines, oxygen administration, and adherence to isolation precautions. All candidates must have an up-to-date nursing report and be prepared to meet all applicable competencies and requirements. Modules are billable and will be completed during the orientation period.
