Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,864 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title: Level 3 RN Endoscopy/GI Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience License: New York State RN License Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification experience - Conscious sedation experience - Expert IV insertion skills - Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia - Experience performing intake for GI procedures Description: Answer patient questions and address their concerns. Observe patient vital signs.
Sedate patients before procedures. Recover patients after procedures. Administer necessary medications to patients.
Complete all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents. Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Clean and sterilize equipment before use.
Provide assistance to doctors throughout procedures.
