Trainee BIM Modeler

Quadrante is looking to strengthen our Energy Business Unit by recruiting a Trainee Civil Draftsman/BIM Modeler for the Structures area, based at our Porto office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of civil works associated with substations, energy facilities (wind, solar and/or BESS) and other infrastructure projects;
• Produce technical engineering drawings and 3D models, in accordance with company standards and national and international regulations;
• Prepare graphical and modelling bases to support engineering activities;
• Check coordination between different disciplines in multidisciplinary projects;
• Collaborate in the development of production methods, templates, and procedures related to technical drawing.

Profile:

• Minimum education at 12th-grade level or a technical qualification in drafting/design;
• Interest in the development of foundations, earthworks, drainage systems and access roads;
• Familiar with and eager to further develop skills in software such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar; proficiency is valued;
• Basic knowledge of Excel, with the ability to read and interpret data;
• Adaptability and ability to work on different types of projects;
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit;
• Professional experience in the energy sector or related fields is a plus;
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is a plus.
