Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No prior experience or post-secondary education required; training will be provided.
• Basic computer skills required for inventory tracking and workplace documentation.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience in tool and die, tooling, manufacturing, plastics molding, maintenance, or machine shop environments.
• Experience operating forklifts is required.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Experience with machining, polishing, fitting, repair, or maintenance work is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and perform with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work in hot, humid, cold, and varying temperature conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach overhead, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Regular use of hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments with moderate to high noise levels, dust, fumes, and airborne particles.

Job Duties

• Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain tools, molds, dies, gauges, fixtures, and consumable materials within the tool room.
• Pull tools and supplies for production orders while assisting with inventory control and tool tracking activities.
• Assist with cleaning, repairing, assembling, altering, machining, drilling, polishing, fitting, spotting, and benching molds, dies, and tooling components.
• Operate forklifts and safely use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools to support tool room and manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
