Textile Designer

Company Description HOUSE OF INCAS is an import and export company based out of Okhla Phase 2, New Delhi, India.

We have a manufacturing unit in New Delhi and Noida. We make Cushions, Christmas Decorations, Bags, and boxes and other accessories with beautiful embroideries that are directly and indirectly produced by hundreds of artisans. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer at House of Incas, located in New Delhi.

The Designer will be responsible for creating and designing product ranges in line with market trends. They will be required to design and develop product specifications, generate computer-aided designs, and use design software to create product mockups. The designer should possess a flair for design, have a working knowledge of embroidery techniques, and be able to effectively interpret commercially feasible trends.

To be able to produce a sample from beginning to end following up with artisans and vendors. Qualifications Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and/or CorelDRAW Degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Textiles or Graphic Design Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy Experience working with embroidery techniques Familiarity with market trends and the ability to interpret them effectively Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Experience in export houses Creative problem-solving and analytical skills to identify design solutions for customer needs. Ability to work with international clients will be preferred.
