We are seeking a Test Analyst with deep core expertise in building automated test frameworks, to join a critical government programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly impactful projects while enjoying a flexible, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain API automation frameworks
  • Define and implement test strategies aligned with engineering standards
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing at API level
  • Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers
  • Ensure solutions are: Robust/ Maintainable/ Scalable
  • Embed quality engineering practices across teams
  • Contribute to modernisation and remediation of legacy applications
  • Identify risks early and drive improvements in quality processes
  • Analyse defects, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence

Core Technical Skills

  • Testing experience in either central government or consulting
  • Extensive experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with automation frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Java
  • An understanding of shift-left testing principals including integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines
