Job Description

Our client is a national leader in workplace and learning environment design, with over 40 years in business and 40,000+ completed projects across Canada. From Kโ€“12 classrooms to corporate headquarters โ€” they act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients from concept through installation with a consultative, relationship-first approach. Backed by a national footprint and deep specialization in education spaces, this is a company known for doing right by its clients โ€” and it shows in the loyalty of the schools and organizations they've served for decades.

About the role: Territory Sales Representative (GTA)

This is a true field sales opportunity for a commercially driven, results-oriented sales professional who thrives on closing business and growing a territory. You'll bring a hunter's instinct for spotting opportunity and driving deals forward โ€” but instead of spending your time prospecting, you'll be handed a steady stream of qualified, warm appointments from our dedicated business development team, so every hour of your day is spent where it matters most: in front of decision-makers, building relationships, and closing business.

What you'll do

  • Meet with K-12 school administrators and decision-makers throughout your assigned territory (4-5 appointments per day across the GTA)
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to uncover classroom, library, and learning space needs โ€” and identify opportunities to expand the scope of each deal
  • Present tailored product solutions from a comprehensive portfolio of educational furniture offerings, positioning value and ROI to decision-maker
  • Partner with the internal quoting team to build compelling, competitive customer proposal
  • Own the full sales cycle: present quotations, proactively manage follow-up, overcome objections, and close new business
  • Collaborate with internal design specialists on larger or more complex projects requiring space planning or design support
  • Maintain a disciplined, accurate CRM and proactively manage your pipeline to maximize territory revenue
  • Travel throughout your territory to build face-to-face relationships, with occasional overnight travel to service remote locations
  • Balance and grow a mix of existing customer accounts and new business opportunities within an established, high-potential territory

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a customer-facing or field-based sales role, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Commercially minded and opportunistic โ€” able to identify potential in every conversation and proactively drive deals toward close
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and develop trusted, long-term relationships with customers
  • Strong consultative selling skills, balanced with the confidence to ask for the business
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
  • Experience using CRM systems to track opportunities and manage territory performance
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage a full day of client meetings while proactively identifying new opportunities within the territory
  • Personable, authentic, and professional; someone customers immediately feel comfortable working with
  • MUST be based in the GTA Toronto with a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Base Salary $80K-$90K + uncapped commission
