Territory Manager – Fluid Power / Industrial Components Location: Houston, TX (Greater Houston Area) Base Salary + Commission + Benefits We are partnering with a well-established industrial distribution company that has been serving the market for nearly 70 years. Our client specializes in the distribution of hydraulic and pneumatic components used in fluid power and fluid conditioning applications and is seeking a Territory Manager to grow and manage business across the Greater Houston area. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional who understands industrial equipment and enjoys working directly with engineers, maintenance teams, and operations leaders to solve real-world mechanical challenges.
Responsibilities Manage and grow an established sales territory throughout the Greater Houston area Preserve and expand relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities Market and sell hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid power, and industrial automation components Work closely with OEM customers as well as Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) teams Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate mechanical and automation solutions Build strong relationships with engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience Experience selling to OEM manufacturers and MRO environments Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of fluid power components Background in hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial automation preferred Proven track record of building and growing a sales territory Ability to communicate technical concepts to industrial customers Candidates with strong technical sales backgrounds from related industries will also be considered. Customers operate across a variety of industrial markets including offshore oil & gas, automotive manufacturing, municipal utilities, aerospace and defense, healthcare, heavy equipment, foundry, and steel.
