Job Description
We are partnering with a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, to recruit several experienced technicians across its growing Australian field service and commissioning team. These opportunities support major data centres and other mission‑critical facilities across power, cooling and electrical infrastructure.
The roles
Depending on your technical background, you will work across the installation, start‑up, commissioning, testing, servicing and fault‑finding of equipment including:
- UPS and critical power systems
- Large‑scale industrial LV switchboards
- Precision cooling equipment, including CRAC, CRAH, fan wall and coolant distribution units
- Associated controls, electrical systems and mechanical infrastructure
Key responsibilities
- Complete equipment start‑up, testing and commissioning
- Undertake scheduled servicing, maintenance and emergency repairs
- Diagnose technical issues and complete complex fault‑finding
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and site stakeholders
- Travel to customer sites, including occasional interstate or overnight travel
- Participate in overtime or on‑call arrangements where required
About you
We are interested in technicians from critical power, electrical, switchboard, HVAC, refrigeration, chiller.
For electrical and power positions, you will ideally have:
- Experience with UPS, critical power, LV switchboards, controls or industrial electrical systems
- Strong electrical fault‑finding and commissioning capabilities
- The ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
For thermal and chiller positions, you will ideally have:
- A Restricted Electrical Licence
- Experience commissioning, servicing or repairing industrial chillers or precision cooling systems
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration circuits, controls and mechanical systems
All applicants will require a valid driver's licence, a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently within live operational environments.
