Our client is expanding its footprint in the U.S. market and is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to spearhead this venture. Harnessing our client’s expertise and industry reputation, they aspire to redefine the precision measuring equipment landscape with innovative solutions.

You will operate at the intersection of engineering, sales, and market development, partnering closely with global headquarters to localize offerings while building a scalable U.S. sales infrastructure. This role will be located In Atlanta.
Strategic Responsibilities (Market Development & Growth): Identify, prioritize, and penetrate high-value key accounts and strategic partnerships across manufacturing, quality assurance, and metrology sectors Build and execute a U.S. go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the U.S. Business Manager and global leadership Develop and expand a robust sales pipeline, leveraging outbound prospecting, inbound marketing, and industry engagement Establish and scale multi-channel sales distribution models (direct sales, channel partners, OEMs, integrators) Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product positioning and roadmap decisions Own the technical sales cycle from discovery through close, including solution design, demonstrations, and proposal development Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions and ROI-driven solutions Lead customer presentations, product demos, and technical workshops (virtual and onsite) Partner with leadership to define pricing strategies, deal structures, and contract negotiations Technical Consulting & Applications Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on product capabilities, configurations, and applications within manufacturing and QA environments Advise customers on measurement systems, process optimization, and implementation strategies Develop application use cases, technical documentation, and best practices tailored to U.S. market needs Collaborate with engineering and product teams in Germany to localize solutions and ensure technical alignment Customer Success & Post-Sales Support: Ensure a high-quality end-to-end customer experience, from onboarding through ongoing support Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance, escalating advanced issues to global teams as needed Drive customer retention, satisfaction, and expansion opportunities through proactive engagement Capture and communicate customer feedback to influence continuous product and service improvement Market Presence & Industry Engagement: Build and maintain a strong industry network across manufacturing, metrology, and quality leadership communities Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and technical forums as a brand ambassador and technical expert Establish credibility as a trusted advisor and thought leader within target industries Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the U.S. Business Manager on operations, logistics, order management, and invoicing processes Collaborate with global HQ (Germany) on product knowledge transfer, training, and innovation feedback loops Brand Building & Market Positioning: Lead efforts to establish and scale brand recognition in the U.S. market Develop and communicate a compelling value proposition and differentiated brand narrative Ensure consistent, high-quality brand presence across sales materials, events, and customer interactions Support marketing initiatives including content development, case studies, and technical storytelling Key Success Metrics: Revenue growth and new business acquisition in the U.S. market Expansion and conversion rate of the sales pipeline Number and quality of strategic partnerships and channel relationships Customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business Brand awareness and market penetration within target industries Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong background in technical sales within manufacturing, metrology, or industrial technology environments Proven ability to build markets and scale sales operations from early-stage presence Blend of commercial acumen and engineering/technical expertise Experience working with global teams and cross-cultural environments Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, builder mentality #J-18808-Ljbffr
