Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple projects covering Data, Reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC – requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to teams on SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Python, and AI-based solutions.
• Review solution designs, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive technical quality.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for client engagements.
• Lead and conduct governance meetings with clients, including weekly and monthly reviews.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and escalations in a structured and proactive manner.

Commercial & Governance Ownership

• Own effort tracking, utilization, revenue tracking, and profitability for assigned accounts.
• Ensure accurate planning, tracking, and reporting of project metrics.
• Drive compliance with delivery governance, processes, and agreed quality benchmarks.

Team Management

• Mentor and guide project teams, including technical leads and developers.
• Support task planning, allocation, and performance management.
• Ensure continuity through knowledge sharing and backup planning.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL, Data Analysis, SSRS, MS Power BI
• Working knowledge of Python and AI / Analytics solutions
• Proven experience in project / delivery management for data-driven programs
• Excellent client communication and governance management skills

Desired Profile

• 13+ years of relevant experience
• Strong balance of technical depth and managerial leadership
• Experience in client-facing roles within enterprise or BFSI environments is preferred
