Technical Procurement Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical

Job Purpose Responsible for end-to-end technical procurement of electrical and mechanical equipment and packages for EPC, marine, offshore, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Key Responsibilities • Technical procurement of electrical & mechanical equipment and packages • Preparation of RFQs and evaluation of vendor technical offers • Coordination with Engineering, QA/QC and Project Teams • Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) • Review vendor drawings, datasheets and certifications • Support FAT, inspections and expediting activities • Ensure compliance with IEC, API, ASME, NFPA, IMO and Class rules Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant technical procurement experience • Experience in EPC / Marine / Offshore / Industrial projects Skills & Competencies • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment • Vendor coordination and negotiation skills • Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline • Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Procurement systems
