Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and support of Varian products in accordance with technical documentation to ensure uninterrupted operational readiness of Varian equipment
  • Instructing clients on the operation and maintenance of Varian products
  • Providing phone or remote support to clients and service engineers as needed, to ensure timely service delivery
  • Preparing spare parts lists to initiate orders, including replenishing spare parts kits for warranty and contract clients. Advising clients on spare parts orders or service requests to ensure they can operate Varian equipment in accordance with technical and safety instructions
  • Entering service visit data into company information systems, including descriptions of technical issues, corrective actions taken, and parts used
  • Completing regular reporting through service reports, travel requests, expense reports, etc., to ensure the availability and accuracy of reliable company statistics
  • Coordinating with the service coordinator and service assistant to provide timely technical or other information
  • Keeping technical documentation up to date
  • Maintaining a high level of professional knowledge and understanding of necessary safety measures in accordance with Varian regulations
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a technical institute or university in electronics, electrical engineering, bioengineering, or a related field, or equivalent education
  • 1–3 years of experience in operational maintenance. Prior experience in servicing and supporting radiotherapy equipment is desirable but not required
  • Knowledge of microcomputers / PC-based systems and professional technical experience working with them
  • Strong professional experience in electronics and electromechanics, and equipment testing
  • Fluency in Polish, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for comprehension and clear communication
