Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into clear business rules, validation frameworks, and system behaviours. Define structured mappings between regulatory obligations and system‑level controls. Analyse APIs and internal services to ensure compliance requirements are enforced at payload and workflow level.

Define field‑level validation logic for account data, beneficiary information, transaction metadata, and payment references. Structure exception handling and rejection logic across payment and account‑related workflows. Map end‑to‑end process flows (including exception and control points) to ensure regulatory coverage.

Support implementation of safeguarding, reconciliation, and liquidity‑related control mechanisms within payment flows. Conduct impact analysis when regulatory or scheme rules change and document required system updates. Identify gaps or weaknesses in existing control frameworks and propose structured remediation.

Maintain clear, structured documentation to support audit readiness and governance standards. The ideal candidate will have the following Experience translating regulatory or compliance requirements into system rules and technical artefacts. Familiarity with payment schemes (SEPA, SWIFT, FPS or equivalent).

Ability to analyse API request/response structures and define validation logic. Strong process modelling capability, especially around control and exception flows. Experience working cross‑functionally with Compliance, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.

High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. Strong SQL knowledge.
