Job DescriptionTEAM LEADER – VESSEL SCHEDULING Location: Mumbai, Thane Experience: 6–10 Years CTC Offered: Upto 15 Lacs Industry: Container Shipping / Liner Shipping / Maritime Logistics Role: Team Leader – Vessel Scheduling We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead vessel scheduling operations supporting a global liner network. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and allocate daily vessel scheduling activities across the team • Manage vessel schedules, voyage creation, port rotations and schedule actualization • Monitor ETB/ETD updates, cut-off amendments, berth schedules, omitted ports and blank sailings • Ensure schedule accuracy, SLA adherence, productivity and quality • Oversee vessel, port, terminal, berth and service-string master data • Handle schedule discrepancies, system issues and operational escalations • Coordinate with global Network & Execution, Network & Cooperation, Cargo Operations and Trade Management teams • Drive SOP governance, process improvement and automation initiatives • Coach, mentor and develop team members • Prepare operational dashboards and performance reports Must-Have Skills: Container Shipping | Liner Operations | Vessel Scheduling | Vessel Planning | Voyage Management | Port Rotation | Schedule Actualization | ETB/ETD | Cut-off Management | Berth Planning | Mainline/Feeder Operations | Team Leadership | SLA/KPI Management | FIS/FIS3 or equivalent shipping systems | Advanced Excel | Stakeholder Management Candidate Profile: • 6–10 years of experience in container shipping, vessel scheduling, network operations or maritime logistics • Minimum 2 years of Team Lead/Supervisory experience • Strong understanding of liner network, mainline, feeder and port operations • Hands-on experience in vessel schedule maintenance and voyage management • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills • Advanced Excel knowledge including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH and Power Query • Experience with FIS/FIS3, Power BI or equivalent shipping systems is preferred Location: Mumbai Interested candidates can share their updated CV with relevant experience in Vessel Scheduling / Liner Operations / Container Shipping. #Hiring #VesselScheduling #LinerShipping #ContainerShipping #VesselOperations #MaritimeLogistics #ShippingJobs #TeamLeader #MumbaiJobs #LogisticsJobs #VesselPlanning #NetworkOperations
