About the Role

Community Care Services supports our aging population, helping them live with dignity and independence in their own homes. Our services cater to the elderly and those with mental illness, disabilities, or other disadvantages.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to take on the position of Team Leader Care Services within our Community Care Services Team. This role involves providing operational leadership and support to the CCS Carers and Domestic assistants, coordinating team meetings, rostering client appointments and assisting with the preparation and submission of fortnightly timesheets for care staff. Additionally, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients and their families, responding to client calls with empathy and patience, whilst delivering a high standard of customer service.

What You’ll Need

  • Certificate IV in Aged Care / Individual Care / Disability Care or related discipline;
  • Bachelor of Nursing highly desirable;
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Accreditation;
  • A current Qld Class 'C' Drivers Licence;
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in community aged care, disability support, or a personal care setting.
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS sectors, including relevant quality standards and legislation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport and trust with clients, families, and team members.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, databases, spreadsheets, and online client management systems.

Location: This position can be based in Alpha, Aramac, or Barcaldine, with regional work as required.

Classification Level: Minimum Level 5.1 (Stream A).

Wage: Minimum base salary of $85,792.20 + 12% superannuation and relevant allowances.

Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.

Hours of work: Full-time, 72.5 Hours over a 9-day fortnight.
