Job Description
St Christopher’s Special School is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher with experience in the field of SEND/ALN, with specific experience of working with pupils with complex needs.
The successful candidate will be joining a flourishing school which educates children between the age of 6-19 with a range of complex additional needs.
About Us
St Christopher’s School is a special school for children and young people with additional learning needs from 6-19 years old. We currently have 342 pupils on roll. We offer a genuine through‑school experience for children aged 6-19 and are committed to delivering a high quality education to all our pupils regardless of prior ability, social background or previous educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach pupils with complex learning difficulties and associated difficulties across the secondary school age.
- Be deployed to a particular phase initially but prepared to teach across the whole age range (6‑19) in the future.
Qualifications
- Experience in SEND/ALN with specific experience of working with pupils with complex needs.
- Enhanced DBS & EWC registration is required for this position.
