Teacher - Learning Support

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate, motivated and highly skilled educator who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through evidence‑based whole‑school approaches, explicit instruction and targeted intervention. The ability to deliver engaging, fast‑paced lessons using online platforms such as Zoom and Webex is essential, with a strong focus on maintaining student engagement and providing timely feedback in a remote learning environment. Training and experience in delivering MULTILIT intervention programs will be highly desirable, with the ability to implement evidence‑based literacy interventions to support students requiring additional learning support viewed favourably.

The successful applicant will coordinate and deliver the school's Physical Education program from Kindergarten to Year 6. This includes planning and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons, promoting student participation in physical activity, supporting the development of fundamental movement skills, coordinating sporting initiatives and events, and working collaboratively with families and home tutors to encourage active participation in a remote learning context.

We are seeking an applicant who ideally possesses high‑quality teaching skills and knowledge, is committed to ongoing professional growth and development, supports current whole‑school processes and is a collegial, effective collaborator. You should ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across the school community. A current driver’s license and strong information and communications technology (ICT) skills are highly desirable.
