    LOCATION: Milton Keynes

    HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

    HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full and Part time hours will be considered

    We're looking for a Tax Accountant to support the delivery of our direct and indirect tax compliance activities and help ensure our business meets its tax obligations across the UK and Ireland.

    This analytical and compliance-focused role will be instrumental in supporting critical tax reporting, statutory filings and governance activities across the Group. Working closely with our Head of Tax, Tax Managers and Finance teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate tax reporting, maintaining compliance and supporting the business through an evolving tax and regulatory landscape.

    What youll be doing:

    • Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting quarterly corporation tax instalment payment calculations.

    • Assisting with current and deferred tax calculations for group and statutory reporting.

    • Supporting the preparation, review and audit of tax disclosures within annual group and statutory accounts.

    • Preparing PAYE Settlement Agreements and taxed award scheme submissions.

    • Supporting VAT compliance activities, including VAT returns, customs obligations and vehicle-related tax matters.

    • Assisting with transfer pricing documentation, Pillar 2 submissions and withholding tax filings.

    • Providing analysis and supporting documentation for audits, compliance reviews and HMRC enquiries.

    • Maintaining tax policies, procedures and process documentation while monitoring changes in tax legislation and regulation.

    What you'll bring:

    You'll be a detail-oriented tax professional who enjoys working with complex financial information and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced environment.

    You'll have a proactive approach, a strong analytical mindset and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.

    Essential experience & skills:

    • Relevant tax experience gained within industry, practice or a professional services environment.

    • ACCA, ACA and/or CTA qualified, or currently working towards a recognised professional tax or accounting qualification.

    • Good working knowledge of UK corporation tax compliance, tax computations and statutory reporting requirements.

    • Experience supporting tax accounting processes, VAT compliance activities and audit requirements.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and tax data accurately.

    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

    • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work collaboratively with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.

    • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and identify potential risks or issues.
