About The Role
SALARY: From 49,354pa dependent on experience
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

Were looking for a Data Analytics & Insight Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality reporting, analysis and insight that supports effective decision-making across our business.
This high-impact and analytical role will be instrumental in turning complex data into clear and meaningful insight. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the business, helping them understand performance, identify trends, manage risks and opportunities, and make informed decisions.
What youll be doing:
- Leading the development and delivery of automated performance reporting and a consistent suite of business reports.
- Turning complex data into clear insights, recommendations and engaging stories for senior and non-technical audiences.
- Working with senior stakeholders to understand their reporting and insight needs, influence priorities and deliver information that supports decision-making.
- Producing high-quality reporting and analysis across customer, sales, operational and financial performance.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities by monitoring performance and investigating significant changes or variances.
- Selecting meaningful measures and creating clear data visualisations that help stakeholders understand performance and take action.
- Supporting the transition of reporting activity into data product teams and working across multiple business areas to improve reporting processes.
- Improving the quality, consistency and accuracy of data, reporting and senior management presentation packs.

Youll be an experienced data analytics and insight leader with the ability to combine strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Youll have a passion for using data to tell a clear story and a focus on producing insight that enables better business decisions. Youll be confident working with senior stakeholders, leading a team and explaining complex information in a straightforward and engaging way.
Essential experience & skills

Strong senior stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills. - Experience presenting complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong data storytelling and visualisation skills, including the ability to select meaningful measures and performance indicators.
- Excellent analytical, trend-analysis and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working with large datasets, data quality requirements and end-to-end data processes.
- Advanced Tableau, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience working across multiple business areas and with data product teams.
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching, supporting and developing team members.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work at pace under pressure.
- Experience delivering complex reporting, analytical or data-led activities.
- The ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations that support business decisions.
Desirable experience & skills:
- Experience working within a Hub and Spoke model, Centre of Excellence or Data Office.
- Experience working as part of, or alongside, Data Product Teams.
- Experience using Power BI.
- Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms (e.g. data warehouses, data lakes environments) to support analytics and reporting.
- An understanding of data governance within analytics and reporting.
- Experience within automotive finance, financial services or banking.
- A degree in a statistical, scientific or related discipline.
- Experience using statistical or analytical methods to identify patterns, relationships and performance trends.

Bonus: Discretionary 10% on-target bonus (based on personal and Group company performance)
Pension: Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). VWFS will pay 6% if employee chooses a 2% employee contribution.
