Eligibility To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active U.S. Government security clearance.
Applicants who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered. Employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status. Responsibilities Your main responsibilities include executing transition and delivery of large‑scale platform architectures across on premise and cloud environments, supporting mission‑critical integration and test operations, and providing systems engineering expertise to the program office.
Developing and executing configuration management plans. Performing technical assessments of software deployment processes. Participating in integration working groups.
Executing system integration or software deployment processes on large‑scale platform architectures. Using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to support documentation and reporting. Communicating effectively and establishing collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates.
Qualifications Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics. 5+ years of experience in systems engineering on national‑security related space programs. 3+ years of experience performing systems integration or software deployment processes on large‑scale platform architectures. Experience performing system configuration reviews, configuration audits, or software deployment procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and contractor teammates. Strong motivation, dynamic work ethic, and a desire to contribute to the DoD mission.
Preferred Qualifications TS/SCI clearance. Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, CS, or Physics field. INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).
Experience in acquisition, systems engineering, or test and evaluation of the ground segment of a space system. Experience leading a team in developing integration and test plans and schedules for large‑scale ground systems. Experience leading test and evaluation programs for space or ground systems.
Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools. Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02. Clearance & Work Location Clearance: Secret.
The position will require at least 2‑3 days per week on site; meetings and schedules may require additional days on site. Pay The base pay for this position within California is $117,000.00 – $171,600.00 annually. For other states, pay ranges are adjusted based on geographic cost of labor and market conditions.
