Job Description

Salary: $70,000 - 175,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a bachelors degree in engineering, science, information systems, or another related STEM field.
  • We consider candidates for junior, mid, or senior levels, with at least 1 year of experience on a project of similar scope or complexity, or no experience requirement for applicants with a masters or doctoral degree.
  • We require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation date within scope (6 years).
  • TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
  • We require the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program access within a reasonable timeframe, based on program needs.
  • We prefer experience supporting software development in a C++, Python, Bash, or object-oriented programming environment.
  • We prefer experience with MBSE, DOORS, and Cameo.
  • We prefer experience across the full software development life cycle in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • We prefer experience with CI/CD tools and workflows such as GitLab, GitHub, Azure, Jenkins, or Nexus.
  • We prefer experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • We prefer experience working in Agile environments.
Responsibilities:
  • We support an Agile Scrum Team on the Command & Launch segment of the Sentinel program and the Command and Control Software Team.
  • We contribute to system engineering work for capability buildup supporting the Sentinel Flight Test Campaign.
  • We help define, develop, break down, analyze, verify, and validate architectures and requirements.
  • We assist program leadership and the customer in defining and maintaining the Command & Launch technical baseline.
  • We support progression through systems engineering artifact maturity and program milestones.
  • We apply model-based systems engineering principles to model program-wide processes, tools, and activities.
  • We support the technical software requirements baseline and align it with program objectives.
  • We collaborate with fellow team members on Agile software requirements development.
  • We contribute to technical execution for major program events across the program portfolio.
  • We help address high-level systems challenges and support execution of the technical plan within the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • We contribute to tools, processes, and cross-segment technical reviews, bringing rigor to technical interchange meetings.
  • We perform requirements analysis, review and document source data, generate verification information, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure designed products meet requirements.
  • We work with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers, and specialty engineers to capture Sentinel node structure and behavior in SysML/UML frameworks.
  • We apply engineering principles to design components and systems in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • We help develop technical content for presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • We maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.
  • We support development and implementation of the MBSE strategy.
  • We support requirement decomposition, derivation, and traceability.
