Are you a Registered Nurse and looking for a meaningful job in Spain?

Viking Travel Care receives inquiries from customers with travel insurance, from anywhere in the world, who have experienced an incident, illness, or accident while traveling.

We provide assistance in the Nordic languages, and we are currently looking for Swedish-speaking Registered Nurses to strengthen our medical case handling for Swedish customers.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and emails, register and handle cases, and coordinate assistance
  • Perform medical screening/triage and escalates complex cases to Contact Doctors
  • Communicate with patients, relatives, clinics, and hospitals; obtain medical reports
  • Assess medical reports and journals, decide on coverage and treatment needs
  • Provide medical advice to customers when relevant
  • Train and support Assistance Coordinators in medical issues

Qualifications

  • Holds an EU-recognized nursing qualification and valid nursing license
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Working experience in the insurance or travel industry is an advantage
  • Experience from training and coaching colleagues is an advantage
  • A clean criminal record is a prerequisite

Workplace

The position will be located at Viking Travel Care in Torrevieja or Fuengirola, Spain

Working hours

Rotation shifts (day, evening and weekend). Other hours may be required at times as we are operating 24/7/365.
